Primary Research - Squirrels

Over the last couple of weeks I have been taken photographs of animals to help me understand how they look and move. I had the pleasure of spending most of the day with a park full of squirrels in Barking Park and they where not afraid to get close!

When I was down close to the squirrels, the team work became clear. One would come over to me first to make sure I was safe and then signal the others over. That signal seemed to be a fast flicking of the tail. They are very careful animals, they will look around and wait for the right opportunity to take the nut.
